Kayla Andersen is a professional Christian speaker with over five years of experience presenting faith-fueled messages to Christian audiences. With a degree in Communications from Moody Bible Institute, she has a theological foundation and a way with words. She is based out of Chicago but is available to travel worldwide. Kayla grew up in church and lived to be the perfect church girl. It wasn’t until she started feeling the external pressure of going through the motions that she realized her faith was dwindling. She had a lot of head knowledge, but facts about the Bible didn’t always help when things got hard. After facing a series of hardships, she found herself reeling from trauma and pain. She felt like a bad Christian, but her faith was renewed when she learned that Jesus wanted to walk through the messiness with her. She learned to untangle the lies she had believed and embrace soul-deep honesty with God about the things that didn’t make sense. Now, Kayla has a passion to help grown-up church kids, burnt-out Christians, and ministry workers navigate the gray areas when life gets messy. Whether you’re trying to find your place in the church, heal from a traumatic event, or just grow a more secure relationship with Jesus, Kayla is the kind of speaker who cares about the whole person, so you feel refreshed and equipped in mind, body, and soul.
